Comments From The Ride Leader:
The weather looks iffy so please check your email for cancellation notices.
We will ride clockwise starting at MI P&R, go east towards Bellevue, then south towards Coulon and so forth. People should at least check their bike over and make sure they don’t have a flat or something, and have water and a snack if they want. We’re going to take it easy, and welcome new folks if they should venture out.
Reality check – for new riders, this is still relatively cold weather. It could be a cold ride with just shorts and summer gloves. You should have a light rain jacket as we could get wet for a portion of the ride and you can put on if needed or as extra layer if you get cold, but wear something you can ride in without your rain jacket if you get too warm. And you should have some sort of full gloves. Even a thin glove under/over your summer bike gloves can make a difference. And please wear a bike helmet that fits you properly. It’s just not safe to ride without one.
