Comments From The Ride Leader:

We will ride counter-clockwise starting at Sunset Elemenary School because then we will be coming back on the south bound lane of West Lake Sammamish where there is a wide bike lane.  The loop is 22-23 miles and we will be stopping at Marymoore Park to take a break and use the restrooms. Bring water and a light snack.  We will take it easy, and welcome new folks if they should venture out. The loop around is 22-23 miles, so we should plan for about 2.5-3 hours.

Reality check – for new riders, this is still relatively cold weather. It could be a cold ride with just shorts and summer gloves. You should have a light rain jacket you can put on if needed or as extra layer if you get cold, but wear something you can ride in without your rain jacket if you get too warm. And you should have some sort of full gloves. Even a thin glove under/over your summer bike gloves can make a difference. And please wear a bike helmet that fits you properly. It’s just not safe to ride without one.
