Comment from Ride Leader
The ride route will take us clockwise around the north half of Lake Washington. The speed will be moderate (14 to 16 mph). The distance will be approximately 36 miles. The route will take us through a variety of terrain (city streets, trails, flat areas, and hills). The forecast for Saturday is predicting heavy clouds with a good chance of showers; temperatures might be a bit on the cool side, so please dress appropriately. We will be riding with light showers and wet roads.

Just a reminder there’s only 2 more months before the STP. I highly encourage everyone to take on more miles and more challenging routes in the coming weeks in preparation for the ride. If you haven’t noticed, the rides on the training plan will progressively get more challenging in terms of distance, terrain, and speed, so please participate as often as you can. Our desire is for everyone to have a pleasant experience during the STP, but in order to do so; we all need to do our part… :)
