Hey everyone! Great Newbie Ride today! Thanks to Janine for hosting this Bicycle Sunday Event-it sure was nice to have such a nice ‘Home Base’, complete with parking, great view of the Lake, and access to the Janine designed kitchen. Thanks everyone for bringing such great food.
We had 16 total riders, with 4 tandems, and with my Dad! We rode the 7 mile loop north, then the 2 mile loop south, then the 7 mile loop again. We ate beforehand while waiting for folks to arrive, we ate a little in the middle courtesy of Gail having some sandwiches on her, then we ate again afterwards. Was this a riding event or an eating event? Included is the preride picture, I do have some videos of riders in action, but I think they are too big to be on this post. What a wonderful ride! Hope to get out and meet all of the new riders next time too. (And sample the food, of course.)
