2010.05.31 Ride the 7 Hills of Kirkland

I’m signed up to do the 7 Hills of Kirkland ride this coming Monday, May 31st (i.e., Memorial Day).

The traditional 7 Hills course is approximately 40 miles long with about 3,000 feet of climbing. It loops around Kirkland, going over the following hills: 1) Market; 2) Juanita; 3) Seminary; 4) Norway; 5) Kingsgate; 6) Winery; and 7) Rose.  A bunch of us rode last year (unofficially).  We  got off course and somehow managed to only do 5 hills.  This year we’ll try to stay on track and do them all.

I’m planning to meet anyone who is riding at the South Kirkland Park & Ride, 10610 NE 38th Pl, Kirkland, Washington 98033, at 6:30 am and taking off at 6:45 am for the Kirkland Marina, which is the official start/finish point.  Please post a comment if you plan to join in so we can make sure we wait for you before taking off.
